My Approach
I’ve been practicing as a psychotherapist for over 20 years, working mainly with adults. I offer individual psychotherapy and couples therapy.
What drew me into this profession was a deep interest in the mystery of what we might call a sense of self. You know the quietly wonderful feeling of knowing and liking who you are? Or feeling that way about someone else? What is it that we instantly recognize, but might have a hard time describing, as a person’s unique voice, their essence?

Trauma, stress, relationship problems, societal stressors, addictions and illness can all get in the way of feeling like yourself. So can the challenges of being neurodivergent in a neurotypical world. When you’re suffering, it becomes easy to confuse the pain itself as who you are, rather
than a reflection of how you are.
A big part of my work involves helping people untangle and rediscover their own authentic sense of self as a key to well-being. I love collaborating with people to sort out the difference between their feelings and the bigger question of who they are, what kind of person they truly are when they feel most alive and real.
